Do you remember me?

Unexpectedly last week I was given the opportunity to bring my Maud doodle alive! I had a day to play with at my placement and was told that I could concentrate on experimenting with him. This is a small card range that I managed to produce. I tweaked them slightly this week - after my first appraisal at my placement (which went really well, praise God). I love my little reindeer and I'm really happy with how he's turned out! My favourite designs are the last 2. Are you feeling festive yet? :) I'm getting there...

Remember Me?? MAUD!!

I said I'd get a photo of him!! The top image is Maud in his original 3D inspirational form. I bought him for my sister's baby shower before Elliott popped out to say "hello". The image underneath I just found yesterday (yes I did/got everything post-ready yesterday that I've posted today). It's the original page which I doodled Maud into 'life'.

Finally I have got something Design related to post!

I would like to introduce you to my little friend, Maud.

He has been on my A4 piece of white paper since before christmas time 2009! However, I haven't had the opportunity to bing him to life yet. I hope you think he's as charming as I do.

Maud is based on a present I bought my 2nd nephew, Elliott, before he was born for his christmas/baby shower present. I will photograph this toy at the next possible time I can to show you exactly what inspired me. I love him and can't wait to breath life into him and wake him up for adventures :D
